    When life gives you lemons...

Make something good out of it

The Life ABCs category here was recommended by one of our friends and I think it is a great idea. In the course of affiliate marketing we have life "stuff" that happens that we might want to share so others can realize they aren't out their all alone.

So Life ABCs is the place to share stories about what you have learned about life, what you want to share, or just a place to vent about the lemons...

Your motto should be, when life gives you lemons, figure out how to sell them.

I just wanted to share the story of when I was having a meeting with a certain unnamed client at a business lunch. He had bought some of his associates. I was filling him in on a lot of logistics to help him improve his website and meet the interests of his customers. He was not being very kind to me and trying to make me look foolish in front of his business friends. I took all the criticism and unnecessary comments very well and kept a positive attitude towards him. He ended up not using my service but one of the associates he brought along ending up calling me and using my service because he thought I handled that customer particularly well, even in the face of criticism. He wanted to work with someone like me. it goes to show that a kind word here and there goes a long way. And also, that if you keep a positive attitude, good things will come to you.

    Cheers,
    Lou Godbrick
